Throughout the duration of the Skyfall opening titles, foreshadowing occurs as the scene is set straight away and links to what happens later in the film. The white titles fade in and back out over moving footage. The titles stands out the majority of the time as they contrast with the background as the background is usually dark. They are placed in several parts of the screen to allow the viewers to see the background footage clearly. Throughout the whole opening the soundtrack of Skyfall by Adele is being played which was made specifically for the movie. Adding further effectiveness as the viewers will recognise the famous voice of Adele and will become intrigued.

The opening of this film begins with a sequence of shots with no titles on them, just a narrator introducing the main character. This immediately intrigues the viewer as the opening titles are not considered to be dull or boring which other films are accused of. Then a white font outlined with a blue trim initiate the opening titles by fading in and out. This font make the titles look as if they are on the news which gives the viewer an insight to what the movie is about. They are positioned away from the clips of Will Ferrel to allow the viewer to watch the footage and keep tem entertained.  The rolling footage of Will Ferrel is very humorous which implies that the movie that the audience is about to watch, is a comedy. Each title has a considerable time lapse between them, therefore focussing the viewers attention to the footage.

The opening titles in this film are introduced by sliding in and out of the shot over moving footage. The Font is metallic grey which is related to metal, this therefore relates very well to the film as the film is about cars. The footage is showing clips from all the previous Fast and Furious which could provide first time viewers a backbone of the story to allow them to understand the plot. The footage alone is very action-packed and chaotic which demonstrate what the film will be about and immediately grabs the viewers attention. A particular soundtrack is also used to add to the excited of the build up tot he film and is very dramatic.
